SATURN LESSONS šŖ
a new series for my astro gurls
First and foremost, congratulations to everyone who has a Saturn in Pisces placement who made it through that return⦠because what was that?
My Saturn return quite literally changed my life. And because I was living through it, I didnāt have an opportunity to really sit and reflect on all that was going on, so this series is all about Saturn. Now I have Saturn at 0°, so I felt it hit very abruptly in the spring of 2023, and since then, Iāve been piecing things together, learning lessons, making mistakes, celebrating a lot of life-changing events, and closing a lot of chapters, and now Iām ready to talk about it.
Now I donāt know if this is because of my Saturn placement or maybe due to other placements in my birth chart, but I have a hard time sharing things publicly while Iām going through them, and my Saturn return was no different. I tried numerous times to write about it and share what I was going through, and then I told myself, just wait till itās over girl - and here we are.
If you have no idea what Iām talking about, let me give you a little refresher.
What is your Saturn Return?
According to my fave Chani, your Saturn return is basically when Saturn circles back to the exact spot it was in when you were born (your natal placement). This happens about every 27 to 30 years, but because Saturn moves slowly. and loves a retrograde, itās not a quick transit. Your first Saturn return is most notable because it tends to shake the table and have you questioning everything you thought you knew. Itās the transition into ārealā adulthood, or I see it as a moment when you want to start truly living for yourself, not how you were socialized or programmed in childhood. Your responsibilities, your patterns, or the direction your life is heading get real loud. Saturn is all about discipline, structure, and challenging truths, so this transit can feel very humbling. But at the end of the day, this three-year connection to Saturn is pushing you toward stability, alignment, and choices that actually hold weight.
Letās just say my Saturn return was met with the highest of highs and lowest of low so I hope yāall are ready for the ride š¢
What you can expect from the series
So, to reflect on whatās been going on over the last 3 1/2 years, Iām gonna break them down into different silos. Even though I donāt compartmentalize my life, I find it easier to share reflections when theyāre organized this way. So weāre gonna be talking about career, friendships, marriage, and motherhood, because all four of those pillars were deeply shaped by my Saturn return. I used to be very vulnerable and transparent online, but somewhere along theway I realized that my transparency is best when I have a tawkeway to share, and letās just say after eloping, writing a dissertation while growing a baby, and living the SAHM life for six months, I have quite a lot of taekwayas to share.
And for those of you curious about astrology and looking to deepen your understanding of transits and placements to better recognize patterns in your life, I suggest connecting with or following Alina on socials. If youāre interested in learning about world history, astrology, and pattern recognition, look into mundane astrology. If youre into social sciences or history, I highly recommend.
I would loveeeee to hear how your Saturn return went, or if you have a Saturn in Aries placement, how do you feel about your Saturn return? I left the comments open, so letās chat.
with love,
Breanna
